The Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica) is the only pan-Canadian organization dedicated to the economic development of Africa. With over 150 members active in every sector of the economy - including education, engineering, infrastructure, natural resources, energy, finance, legal, consulting, communications, information technology, manufacture, agri-food, environment, sustainable development and health - and with 4 offices located across Canada, CCAfrica is at the forefront of Canada's economic relationship with Africa. CCAfrica is a private sector, member driven, non-profit organization. Membership caters to both private and public sector organizations with business and investment interests in Africa. Membership includes:
The Canadian Council on Africa holds conferences, seminars and briefings throughout Canada on various topics ranging from economic issues and natural resources to education and the Francophonie. A sample of these conferences and seminars are the following:
CCAfrica hosts African business and political delegations and leads business delegations to Africa. These are focused on promoting business relations between Canadian institutions and the private sector and their counterparts in various African countries. A sample of these are the following:
